Harvard Medical School (sixth) Gordon Hall is built.

1906

[1907-Pounds] Architect: Shepley, Rutan & Coolidge. Designed in the Beaux Arts style and clad in white Dorset marble, the main build for the new campus is located on the former site of the Francis estate at today’s 25 Shattuck Street. Harvard had purchased 26 acres of farmland and marsh in the area and subsequently sells some of the land to other hospitals that relocate in the area.
